Anne Heche was an American actor who made it into the industry with her appearance in the television soap-opera 'Another World.' She had accused her father of sexually abusing her, before his passing from AIDS. The relationship between her and her sister, the sole survivor in her extended family deteriorated when they began to defend her father. The actress was featured in a variety of television serials and films, including 'Fatal Desire,' 'The Brave,' 'Wild Side Walking and Talking' and "I Know What You Did Last Summer. The relationship to Ellen DeGeneres drew widespread controversy throughout her career. After that, she married Coley Laffoon. However, she was divorced afterward. In the following years, she was a lover of James Tupper and had another son with him. Her memoir, titled Call Me Crazy: A Memoir, chronicles her turbulent life including the abuse her father suffered and lesbian relationships. Following her breakup with DeGeneres she was confronted with mental and emotional issues for which treatment was needed. Anne Heche died on August 6, 2022, in a Los Angeles hospital, six days following a fatal automobile collision. She passed away at age 53.
