Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actor, performer, and songwriter for many years. She was raised by her mom within the USA she faced a lot of racial taunts and made her feel being unwanted. When she attended a 9th grade school audition, where she was praised for her singing and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. This not only increased her confidence, but also her goals changed. She attended New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. She started her professional journey when she was 23 years old, appearing in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and the film You've Got Mail. But her biggest break came when she starred in the role in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway production of Spamalot receiving not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC the show, she received more fame. As a well-known singer, she also released a single and an extended version of her play. Also, she's an activist and works hard to protect LGBT rights.
